Lionsgate Play Releases Feels Like Home Season 2 Trailer

Lionsgate Play has released the trailer for the second season of its hit original series, Feels Like Home. Chronicling the lives of the four boys, Season 2 captures the journey from boyhood to manhood with more drama, bromance, and laughs that bring together a whirlwind of emotions and friendship. Directed by Sahir Raza and written by Sidhanta Mathur, the series stars Prit Kamani, Vishnu Kaushal, Mihir Ahuja, Anshuman Malhotra, Himika Bose and Inayat Sood.

Scheduled for October 7, 2022, the trailer gives viewers a deeper look into the lives of Sameer, Avinash, Akhil, and Lakshay, who have lived together for some time. From epic parties, an overdose of bromance to heartbreak and new relationships, the series brings a new perspective to adulthood as well as a roller coaster life journey.

Calling it a fresh take on adulthood, Prit Kamani, who plays Lakshya on the show, said, “Season 2 is where the OGs are back in full force! But this time around, the hangover isn’t as much from the parties as it is from the relationships. The carefree boys slowly turn into men as they deal with the emotions that come with complicated relationships and life choices. For Lakshay, it’s a moment of truth when he finds himself in a situation where he has to choose between his true love and his best friend. This season, he’s a “man in love” and the bond between the boys grows stronger and deeper. But the heat, the jokes, the madness aren’t going anywhere!”

Anshuman Malhotra, who reprises the role of Sameer, said, “Returning to the sets of Feels Like Home felt like I had never left it and it gave me a sense of comfort. But unlike the fun and joy of Season 1, Season 2 comes with more responsibility in terms of storyline and performance. My character is taking a more mature turn and looking more introspective about life because there will be raw emotions, turmoil, more bromance and richness in the storyline, and I’m excited to see how the audience will react to it.

Vishnu Kaushal who plays the character of Avinash said: “Feels Like Home season 2 was a realization that adulthood is a long journey and there is so much to explore, and work with Sahir. Raza is always like a new day. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for more, they’re a dream team. From Sahir & Sid guiding us scene by scene to my super hardworking boys – Anshuman, Preet & Mihir, it’s been an amazing learning experience for me. I enjoyed every day showing up on set and living the life of Avinash, and I hope all the fun we had on set translates to the camera!

Meanwhile, Mihir Ahuja, who plays Akhil Gandhi in the show, said, “Season 2 of Feels Like Home should be full of surprises and twists. There’s a deeper dive into adulthood, and the story explores in more detail the ups and downs that young adults face that I think everyone would resonate with. My character takes a complicated turn and tries to find ways between friendship and love. I’m excited for the release of the new season, and people will learn how funny boys turned into men.

Inayat Sood, who plays Mahima in the series, said, “Relationships evolve with more emotions and maturity in season 2. My character, who was at the center of a love triangle throughout season 1 , learns to fight the guilt that comes with growing up. get up, move on, and go after what she wants. She makes peace with the changing dynamics of the second season. There will be many exciting twists and turns, and Mahima’s character becomes even more relevant in the present day.

Himika Bose, who plays Dhriti on the show, said, “Feels Like Home is one of the most fun scripts I’ve worked on; When I was informed of the return of the series, I was just excited to put myself back in Dhriti’s shoes. My role is much more intense in the second season compared to the first, as the season will now see the boys going through adulthood, and the girls will be more involved in the boys’ lives and part of the dynamic.
